orange: who is your greatest literary inspiration, and why?
i’m going to stray from literary for right now seeing as i don’t necessarily want to be an author and maybe use screenwriters instead.
there’s sorkin, who has such witty and quick dialogue. it seems effortless but there’s meaning in the subtleties. i mean, look at the things we all pick apart from the TSN screenplay - i don’t think that’s an accident. although sometimes the TSN fandom is known to go a bit overboard.
i think there’s something about wes anderson too, who most likely because of moonrise kingdom, i’ve been stanning for the past couple of days. his works seem to have such a simple, i don’t have the word, concept (i guess?) but he makes evolves them so wonderfully.
black: your dreams! be published, be a critical success? what?
i’d like to have the opportunity to be a screenwriter/tv writer. i like the idea of expressing one’s or my own story via words and seeing them visually.
white: weirdest thing you’ve ever written
hm, i don’t know. maybe it was that strange zombieland fic i wrote where i wrote andrew into it and emma’s character was jealous of him. i didn’t even know where i was going with that therefore i left it alone.
blue: what is your favorite genre/subject on which to write?
i like to stick to things i know and have personal experiences with and attach a sort of deadpan/cynical humor to it.
are you black
WE’VE BEEN OVER THIS MORGAN.
I AM A BLACK MAN
NAMED MO’NIQUE
WITH FAT HANDS
WHO IS ATTRACTED TO WHITE MEN [which makes no sense because i am black]
do you even listen?

there was a couple in the theater sitting in front of me and they were canoodling and i wanted to yell out, “there’s no time for romance. we have shit to avenge!” but i thought that would be mildly inappropriate.
It’s always frustrating to talk about movies with people who don’t love cinema as much as you do
#I’m not kidding #sometimes I wanna cry because of a camera angle
